| HOW TO BECOME SAVED First of all you have to really want to be forgiven of your sins. This is not a decision you go into lightly...however, it is a free gift. John 3:16 ~ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that, who soever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 5:8 ~ But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Lots of folks think like I did, that they are too bad, they have sinned so much, there is no hope. Nothing could be farther from the truth.....To your left.....read the text... "YOU, ARE A UNIQUE CREATION OF GOD" WOW, now that is profound, there is only one you, and you were created after HIS image. Think about that, that one statement makes you very, very special. In Romans 3:23 ~ it says, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:10 ~ As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. We are all sinners, we are born into sin, and no one sin is greater than another......a SIN is a SIN> So there is no way that you have sinned too much, or been too bad to receive this free gift that He so graciously offers to you. All you have to do is admit that you have sinned, and believe that He is willing to forgive your sins and you can be saved. GOD's REMEDY FOR SIN Romans 6:23 ~ For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord. John 1:12 ~ But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. I Corinthians 15: 3 - 4 ~ For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. If you believe the Bible is the true word of God and that His promises are true, and you read the above verses and see that Jesus, God's only Son was sacrificed to take the wages of sin from us, now.......what are you waiting for. All those years that I turned away from Him, He was always there. ALL MAY BE SAVED........HE DID NOT SAY SOME......HE SAID ALL......PRAISE THE LORD ! ! ! Revelations 3:20 ~ Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him. Romans 10:13 ~ For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9 ~ That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. John 5:24 ~ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. I John 5:13 ~ These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God John 20:31 ~ But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. A SIMPLE SINNERS PRAYER I _______ , admit that I am a sinner. I believe that as a sinner I owe a sin debt to God that will take my soul to Hell forever. But I also believe Jesus Christ, the perfect Lamb of God came to earth and lived a perfect, sinless life, and went to Calvary as my substitute and paid the penalty for my sins upon the cross. I rely on what HE did for me on Calvary to take me to Heaven. I ask Jesus to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and save my soul. AMEN Now go forth by faith, LIVING BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT.............You tell someone immediately about your wonderful gift that you have received by God, and begin to witness to others about this wonderful relationship that you now have with the FATHER, stay faithful, and you will make mistakes, and you will have to ask forgiveness, but you will no longer want to go out and willfully sin against God and what you have received in your heart. WHERE ARE THOSE SINS NOW? GONE< CAST INTO THE SEA OF FORGETFULNESS, NEVER TO BE BROUGHT UP AGAIN.........that is the PROMISE OF GOD, THE FATHER. Now let the Holy Spirit lead you and guide you in your life, practice daily Bible reading and study, let the word go from your mind into your heart. That is why it is called the LIVING WORD.......
