ENCHANTED GARDEN
Misty shades of pink
and chartreuse too,
Peak out among the web,
of vines in view.

Hidden in the greenery
are treasures to find.
Little garden helpers,
statues of all kinds.

The entrance to this garden,
tis' almost hid away;
Follow the maze of paths,
into a beautiful day.

A surprise around each corner,
oh.....what a lovely view;
Roses of all species,
Bushes and climbers too.

There are ferns upon ferns,
ivy, hostas, I can plainly see;
As I watch around each bend,
there are surprises for me.

Azaleas of all colors
growing there so neat;
Makes my mind marvel.
In a magical place so sweet.

All of the fragrances,
permeate the air around;
It causes me to wonder;
An enchanted place I've found?

Nestled among the beauty,
oh!  up ahead I see;
A resting place, an ornate bench,
Just waiting there for me.

I sit and reflect,
of how I am blessed.
To be among God's beauty,
with a lovely place to rest.

The gentle breeze rustles
among the majestic trees,
Where sunbeams are filtered,
down through the leaves.

The dew from the dawn,
still remains overhead;
A misty spray rains down,
upon the flower beds.

Truly a place of beauty,
God created to enjoy;
It makes me so thankful,
and oh so much more.

The beautiful Garden of Eden,
may have resembled this place;
Until disobedience of man,
changed the views, leaving disgrace.

I wish I could remain,
just taking in the treasures;
All the beauties to behold,
I could never measure.

How beautiful Heaven must be;
for all of us who go;
Because this enchanted garden,
Is the closet place I know.

PSALMS 1: 3

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers
of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever
he doeth shall prosper.
