1 Corinthians 1: 29 ~ 31
That no flesh should glory in his presence,
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.
That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
BLESSINGS OF LIFE

Alone in the wee hours of the morning,
Soon the sun will rise and meet the day.
I contemplate my life and all the turns I've made
Realizing that the good outweighs bad, in every way.

All the times, you ask, where to turn
Then you realize that God was your guide.
And if you decided to follow Him
There was no way you could slide.

Foolishly, we try to make it on our own,
And always in the nick of time, He softens you fall
The world revolves around us at such a speed,
But, we think we have time to care for our needs.

So we need to pray for those who are just hanging on
Let them know this world has nothing for them.
No, no nothing at all to give
Look up to the heavens, keep your eyes on Him.

Before we know it, time will escape us
And we need to be free,
Free from all the sins and cares of the world
Free to worship Him in one accord.

Spreading the word where ever we go
Giving Praises to, From whom all blessings flow.
So while I am sitting here, contemplating in my mind
My body is getting older, but at least I have mine.

So don't take your life for granted, waiting around for naught
Give the one who gave you life, lots of serious thought.
For the time you have here is not promised
That day may come and you will have missed.

Take account and be sure to give proper notice
To the ONE whose gifts are bestowed
Thank Him for all the blessings He gave us
And has caused your life to be overflowed.
