"YOUR FAITHFULNESS"
Father even in this quiet With the house still full of sleep I come before Your presence Because my soul You keep.
And here within these moments You've fashioned me anew That even through my sinfulness You've made me look like you.
You sought me when they cast me off You met me at the well They took what they could gain of me And threw me off to hell.
But you are ever merciful You saw my helpless state You rescued me before their eyes And changed my dreadful fate.
And why would one so mighty And why would one so wise Come unto the aid of her Who owned no more than lies?
Because You see the hungry The fallen and the weak Pity fills Your presence And after them You seek.
So thank You for these moments We've shared throughout the years Your faithfulness to meet me here Had dried up all my tears.
