WELCOME HOME
He stepped into the dark of night
An angel gently took his hand.
The stars provided him with light.
At first his heart was filled with fright.
This was not quite what he had planned
He stepped into the dark of night.
Then soon appeared an awesome sight,
where he before God’s throne would stand
The stars provided him with light.
He stepped into the dark of night
To journey to an unknown land,
where he found peace, sublime delight.
Angelic choirs in robes of white
sing hymns of praise at God’s right hand
The stars provided him with light
He had come home, and all was right.
