THE SAVIOR
A baby girl was born one day
She was so sad to see
Because she had no daddy
And her mom just wouldn't be.
"A baby is a bother"
And with that she quickly flew
"My life I have to live for me
I shall not stay for you."
Oh hush now little baby
Oh baby don't you cry
"But where oh were's my Daddy
Why won't my Mommy try?"
Sweet Savior how you came to her
That lost and lonely girl
You stepped into her life one day
And Satan's plan was furled.
You rescued her from mirey clay
And from a pit so deep
"My Daughter I'll protect you
And you from now I''ll keep"
"I'll make it all my business
To see that you are well
And never again shall you say
"MY Life is simply Hell"
Oh what if Savior had not come
And listened to her cry?
How soon would pass her lonely life
And in the end she'd die
I know she'll live forever now
In a city man can't see
For don't you know that little girl
Has grown up to be me.
