Gazing out my window The sky is a canvas of stars Glittering every one in splendor With the nearest brightest by far.
Twinkle, Twinkle, brightest star Making the night aglow Dancing and shimmering you are Shining your light below.
Awesome sight to behold On this starry night Tonight a story is told Of another star so bright.
Shining over a tiny village Where no room was found. The time had come to pilfer Taxes from those around.
The animals were asleep Upon the piles of hay No room, said the keep And turned them away.
The Father sent angels To give notice of His birth The shepherds stood amazed To see them here on earth.
The people slept aloft The animals sheltered below So Jesus was laid in a trough Aside the sheep that lowed.
The King of Kings was born Good Tidings to all mankind Our Savior He would be He will take our sins,
YOURS AND MINE
THE REASON TO REJOICE TODAY AND EVERYDAY!!
