My baby turns 26 today,
I love her ever gentle ways.
With long curly dark hair.
And beautiful blue eyes to share.
Her short life has turned about
So many traits that make me shout.
Her love shines through her boys,
Two more reasons to give me joy.
She’s so sweet and kind to know,
Another reason I love her so.
Her beauty is more than skin deep
A heart for Jesus she also keeps.
Those days of diapers, gone away
But it seems like only yesterday.
Kindergarten, made her so proud,
When she could read out loud.
I’ve carried dreams in my mind
That happiness and resolve she would find.
On last Mother’s Day she made a vow
That she would start college somehow.
I knew right then, she had a plan
I said, “If anyone can do it, she can”!
Well I was right and with God’s help
She has excelled and so proud of herself.
She needed a grant to go to school
She filled out the papers and was approved.
To become a nurse, it’s not a breeze
She studied her lessons and passed with ease.
I am so very proud to say
Her score was very high, last semester day.
With God by her side, her dedication paid
Recognition she achieved, with the 4.0 she made.
Happy Birthday to you my smart girl
With prayers and love you’ve proved to the world.
There is not a daughter more special that’s true.
And these Birthday Wishes I send to YOU! !
