As the sun sinks slowly,
To the West on its way,
Just stop and reflect,
What you did today.

Did you have a good day?
Or was it full of fears?
Was it full of laughter?
Or was it full of tears?

Did you take the time to help,
A less fortunate than you,
Just spent a short time,
Was that the best you could do?

Did you have conflict?
With someone well known,
Clear that bad feeling,
Before the sun is totally gone.

For with every sunset,
The day prior has ended,
You may be called 'fore you wake,
Ensure all conflicts mended.

As sure as every day that dawns,
The sun will surely go,
So it is with our very lives,
For 'tis only when we don't know.

We are here but for short span of time,
Be it many years or much less,
So it's always important for us to strive,
To have done our very best.

So as we live from dawn to dusk,
And in the nights as well,
Be it Heaven that we seek,
And not the fires of hell.

For new life is like day that dawns,
Although life be much longer,
Before we meet our own sunset,
Let our goodness get much stronger.

And when we reach our own sunset,
For our goodness our rewarding,
Shall be the gates of Heaven. yes,
With God and Angels welcoming.

So as you watch the sunset,
And darkness is in store,
Remember that one day unknown,
The sun setting will be yours.

But if you lived your life to fullest,
And loved and laughed and cried,
Then fear you need have no more,
As God beckons you inside.

Proverbs 3: 24 ~ 26
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid; yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.  Be not afraid of
sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when
it cometh.  For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and
shall keep thy foot from being taken.
