| SILVER AND GOLD AND THEE The priceless gift that the Father gave, Has more worth than silver and gold. On earth they are precious and savored But to Him more worth is in your soul. I have a friend who puts great value In the ONE who reigns on HIGH The riches in Heaven, she cannot fathom So His worth, it will someday draw nigh. But in the meantime her goal is set There is no value that can ever be placed To give Him all the riches, we have yet. To the Giver of Amazing Grace. So the gifts she gives are honor and praise She started out with prayer and hope And she makes pages His glory to raise. And it wasn't long before she learned the ropes. Great offerings each week she lifts to Him Not to mention the gifts we receive And also gives her friends a grin. Just from seeing the beauty of the scenes. She has showcased some wonderful writers Not taking any credit or praise And also stays humble and right, Her goal is to lead sinners to be saved. So very generous with her kindness And always passing around good deeds Her faith in the LORD is so boundless Always thinking of others needs. The Lord is blessing her efforts each day Her faith and steadfastness is true She extends herself to those who need a way To recover and get past the blues. In no way is she perfect, not until Heaven But she is a honest, true, sinner saved by grace. An earnest warrior, her spirit leavened, And someday she will see Him face to face. Her beautiful site has the names of worth and more Silver and Gold, precious metals, not priceless But THEE, the Savior, Christ our Lord Is first , the King of Kings stands for the best.
