| 'SERENITY' Peace and calm can be yours If you let your mind rest. The peace that only affords The serenity at its best. The gray clouds that hover Are ominous upon your day. Your wish for you to recover To be happy, and out of disarray. Instead of hanging your head Raise your eyes to the sky. And lift the clouds instead See clearly now, on Him rely. You say, "Oh, it can't be done" Not as easily as you say. Surprise may appear and overcome The drearies of the day. The mind is intricate and profound And tricks upon you it can play. But if you put your trust in the ONE He will make you see clearly today. SERENITY is just a word to speak Confession sometimes is the key. If you have sinned when you were weak Ask forgiveness and you will be free.
