SCHOOL DAYS AGAIN
Vacation from school is almost gone,
Soon the kids will be leaving home.
Up early in the mornings getting ready to go
Waiting on the school bus or carpool to show.

Summer time was fun in deed,
Church day camp and places to see.
Swimming and playing was lots of fun,
Spending the days in the summer sun.

Mom has long since spent the dough
On notebooks, papers and pencils to go.
Off to learn reading, writing and arithmetic,
Computer skills and studies quick.

Jason and Avalon will be new this year,
In kindergarten they will appear.
Already know how to read and write,
And count real high, they are so bright.

Christopher starts the third grade,
Kindergarten through 2nd he's already made.
So all three of my sweet grands will go,
It doesn't seem possible, but it's so.

Grandpa, MeeMaw, Mom's and Dad's
Are all very proud of the lass and the lads.
Hope they enjoy their adventures in school,
And learn lots of lessons and rules.
