| PRECIOUS GIFTS Life is full of different things, Air we breathe and birds with wings. Beautiful flowers all in bloom Gracing the table in your dining room. Friends who say, "I love you" Creation to give us a beautiful view. A family who loves and holds us dear, And makes us so glad to be here. Precious gifts that God has given Sent down to us directly from heaven. Help to make our lives complete, And every day seem so sweet. To all the mothers every where, A gift of tribute, I would love to share. A mother's day is full of love, For the offspring, that gift from above. The ultimate creation that God gives A precious baby girl or boy, a life to live. The mother nurtures and prepares That child for what faces them out there. The lowest paid job in monetary needs, But the highest in the rewards you receive. Kissing a boo boo, and making it well, Having little arms wrap around you is swell. Of all the vocations there are to be Being a mother is the most special to me. Watching them grow in body and mind Into that woman or man so kind. Don't get me wrong, the journey is not easy But it is one that you cherish dearly. The most beautiful miracle there is on earth Is the precious gift of giving birth. When Mother's Day comes every year, A day to celebrate and give a cheer. To mothers who have loved and nourished Their children so they will flourish. Is a Very Special Day in deed, A day which we deserve and we need. Fathers they also will get their day To celebrate the role in life they played.
