| POWER IN THE BLOOD |
| The blood of Jesus was shed for you and me That day upon the cross, where He hung at Calvary. The precious blood of the lamb that was slain Was for our redemption, freedom is ours through His name. How could a Father give His only begotten son And send him to die for us, and watch his blood freely run. Until his body was crumpled and cruelly slain. No other father would give his child to bleed and sustain. The power in Christ Blood, is so profound and complete That there is nothing that can compare or compete. With the things that blood can do for all mankind If they only would give their hearts and to him resign. A symbol of our salvation, which stained His garment that day Is the reason we can ask forgiveness and turn our face his way. Look upon His countenance, and know the grace that he gave. Just to give you the freedom to live and save you from the grave. Yes the power in the blood that freed us from the burden of sin. Is still there today, and will cleanse you from deep within. Giving you great blessings that are more precious than silver or gold. With the promise of eternal life, and a beautiful mansion to behold. Yes that wonder working power that was in his blood back then Is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, and will always win. Lost souls that were out in the darkness, and draw them to the light.
