| ONCE UPON A TIME Once upon a time I thought I had it all Money, clothes, and jewelry Life rolling like a ball. Didn't have to worry Never had to fret Doing anything I could And never had regrets. I traveled to the East coast Sometimes to the West North states were beautiful The South I like the best. In my adventurous travels Many people I did meet Some were really different Most were kinda sweet. Then one day it happened I found no place to go Feeling sad and lonely Alone, with spirits low. Not knowing what to do I took a long look back My life had been exciting But something did it lack. Now in my room alone With nothing else to do I opened up a drawer A book? I had a clue. I slowly turned the pages Read them one by one So wrapped up in this story Oh, it was so much fun. Reading of a man That died for you and me How could he do this? Why did he pay this fee? Life has changed since then Although I'm on the go I'm doing things for Jesus It's Him that run's my show. Written by Tonya Bonstein Copyright 2005 |
