I love to come up here now and then, Let the memories come rushing in. 'Oft times the tears willl freely flow, Sometimes from laughter my heart will glow.
Treasures of the heart are stored here, Each one so precious and so dear. I only kept the meaningful things, To my heart they play the scenes.
Mom's picture with her puppy, Bo She did love that dog so. They had each other for many years To her he was so very dear.
She shared many tales of him and her, Things of her childhood that did occur. Her beautiful clowns she loved so, She favored the one dressed in yellow.
Dad's Bible was always near his chair He kept it on a table there. The painting of Mom that he loved so He looked at that, and his face would glow.
With so much love I remember their lives, With their love and care, we kids did thrive. Of Jesus love they taught us well, Warned us of a place called hell.
Words and memories come to my mind, As I sit here looking at these things combined. Forever my heart will be entwined, With them and the memories they've left behind.
