SONG:  "IT IS NO SECRET"
SEQUENCED BY DICK ANDERSON'S
COUNTRY GUITAR
PERMISSION GIVEN
Amazing love is mine,
Through the Lord Divine.
In Him there is no turning,
Push ahead and past life spurning.

The grace He gave at Calvary
To hang and die for you and me.
He never murmured or complained,
To give His life for our disdain.

What amazing love is mine,
It rains down from the sky;
Bringing joy and peace my way,
For each and every day.

Give thanks and credit to,
The King who delivered you.
From sin and hell to shun,
A new life has begun.

What amazing love is mine
A gift not tied with twine.
But in the stripes He took that day,
To give this wonderful gift away.

Amazing love is mine,
With grace so sublime.
Everlasting life He gave
The day that I got saved.

*~ JOHN 3: 16~*

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.

( Following are the words and a little background on the
beautiful song you are listening to.)

"IT IS NO SECRET"

The signs of time ring out the news,
another day is through.
Someone slipped and fell,
was that someone you.
You may have asked for added strength
Your courage to renew;
Do not be disheartened,
For I have news for you.

Chorus:

It is no secret what God can do,
What he's done for others,
He'll do for you.
With arms wide open
He'll pardon you.
It is no secret what God can do.
*~*

There is no night, for in GOD's light
you'll never walk alone.
Always feel at home,
where ever you may roam.
There is no power can conquer you
while God is on your side,
Just take Him at his promise,
Don't run away and hide..

(return to Chorus)

IT IS NO SECRET was written by Stuart Hamblin who was born the son of a Methodist preacher in Kellyville, Tex.
in 1908.  His career started in 1927 in Abilene, Tex.

This beautiful song has been recorded by, Elvis Presley,
Pat Boone, Rosemary Clooney, Jim Reeves and Eddy Arnold.   These are just the ones that were famous, I am sure it has been recorded by many gospel singers.  It is one of those songs that is always loved and it has such a wonderful message to give.  I have sung this song as a solo,
in groups, and with a choir.  I am proud to be one of the least
that have learned these wonderful lyrics by heart.
