| The banner we so proudly fly is not mere cloth or rag. A symbol of our country's soul, it is our nations's flag. Displayed at homes throughout our land from flagpole, car and steeple. It represents both unity and faith of diverse people. It represents the hopes and dreams of those who would be free, and under God would rather live with love and liberty. Of course, within fair freedom's frame our system has its flaws, but justice can be won for all if governed by its laws. A mixing bowl of diff'rences joined in community. Diversity in concert is defined as unity. One nation under God we stand, now nation brave and strong, and unified we must remain In spite of right or wrong. Long may our flag be lifted high, unfurled and flying free. portraying what allegiance means, when pledged by you and me.
