| BUTTERFLIES IN FLIGHT |
![]() |
| Butterflies are all around Flitting their wings in flight Creations of God can be found In spring, what a beautiful sight. There is one, first in rank The King of the insect world It's body with vibrant colors flanked Black and yellow, in dots and swirls. They can do phenomanal things Even though from tiny eggs they bear A caterpillar is what nature brings And it gives quite a few, a scare. Caterpillars are not pretty at best And then they shed their ugly skin A chrysalis is formed to make a nest A home to develop into a beauty then. Until finally they emerge majestic Transformed into a sight to see A Monarch Butterfly is ejected Into nature's realm to be. Their favorite food is milkweed On that plant they do survive So if you love to watch them feed You may need some plants to provide. God created woman and man And they create a child Inside it's mother's womb it can Become that beauty meek and mild. Creation, no matter what form it takes Is such a miracle in itself to behold Of all the creatures that God makes The human has to fit into a special mold. The mold the Master Potter shapes And gives us our features and designs We develop our lives, maybe something great But it is up to us what the product defines. And then we have the beautiful Monarch Who tries to survive a long life But the travel to warmer homes to embark Is never a round trip, nature provides So let's enjoy their beauty while we may And observe the many each year we see Their lives are short lived as nature makes But we decide our life and destiny. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. |
