BEAUTY AWAKENS

The long cold winter has decided to go
Now is when nature puts on a show.
Vibrant colors of the rainbow and more
Are all around us to view and adore.

A beautiful time of the year presents
The treasures that have been hidden since,
Last Spring came forth with a show
But the drawbacks are here, some people know.

Sniffling and dripping nose, has attacked
With itchy eyes , oh what an impact.
The yellow substance that covers our cars
Is blowing around near and far.
Spring not only brings in beauty displayed
But along with its bursting into life each day
It spreads discomfort to many who have allergies
But even so, the show is worth a few maladies.

The renewing of the earth's landscape
Turning a dull palate into muli-colored gaze.
Thus the Creator with plans so fine
Has awakened the sleeping just in time.

Birds are singing happy songs
Sparrows and Bluebirds all sing along
Welcoming new life for another season
The beauty awakens with rhyme and reason.
